When A Girl Tells You She Loves You.

When A Girl Tells You She Loves You.

Do not blame it on her.

Watch her struggles in each breath.
See how every word is said in twisted lines,
Listen for the mistake in her sigh.

Probably,
If she had dysarthria in her soul,
She'd give up after the "I...I...I...lo...lov..."

Perhaps there are scars on the windows of her room,
And what she meant was; "Please help me heal...help me recover quickly".
Do not take her words,
Do not smash the windows.

When a girl tells you she loves you,
Do not assume yourself an "Othello".
She never meant those words,
Though sincerity abides amidst them.
Do not be a foolish "Adam"... she is no bone of your bones, nor flesh of your flesh.
The food you eat doesn't give her energy.
She meant; "You're so intelligent!"
And..."please help me with the math assignment".

It must have taken a million breath,
And thousands of heartbeats.
Surely, a great struggle with the waves to say those words, but the moment she let it spill,
After the first, second, third, forth, it becomes a norm, another pronunciation for "good morning".

She must have noticed the way your lips slowly widens,
Giving away your happy teeth, it pleased her.
She must have watched for long and became too courageous.

WARNING!
Help her sit properly.
Do not touch her cheeks.
Do not kiss her forehead.
REMEMBER!!
You're only a BOY!!!
A silly one.

When a girl tells you she loves you,
Do not tell her about Romeo and Juliet,
They died last winter.
She must have meant, "you're handsome" or "you're so kind" or "thank you"
Or "your story really troubles me" or "sorry you had to pass through all that".

When a girl tells you she loves you,
She is only reaching out to a friend, brother, father, uncle, companion, a pet, a Teddy without beard.

Perhaps someone with a rainbow jacket,
Not a ghost.

Do not take her words to mind,
Let alone to the heart.
She is only being a girl,
A friend,
Another desperate Fe_male.
Remember.
